FAQ During Covid-19

Do you have any elastic? Or fabric for masks?

Please click on the “Frontline Supplies” on the front page to see what we currently have in stock. We are doing our best to restock as supplies become available.

Can I add to my order?

Yes, if your order has not shipped yet, you can place another order and choose “add to my previous order” at checkout. 

Has my order shipped yet?

You will receive an email with tracking information when your order has shipped. Please make sure to junk your junk mail as well. Due to running a minimal team and increased volume, order processing time is 2-4 business days.

My package hasn't arrived yet. Do you know when it will be delivered?

Canada post is dealing with Christmas-level volumes of packages right now, so unfortunately orders are sometimes delayed.

When will you be getting more (specific product) back in stock?

We are unable to get any estimated arrival times from our suppliers at this time.

I tried calling and there was no answer. What is the best way to get a hold of you?

Because we are operating with minimal team members, we are focusing on getting orders filled and out the door rather than running to the phone. If you have a question about your order, please email us using the contact form below.

When will your storefront be open again so I can shop in person?

At this point our showroom is closed indefinitely due to challenges and uncertainty surrounding Covid-19. The health and safety of our team members and community is very important to us. We do not currently have a timeline for reopening.

Do you offer curbside pick up?

Yes, we offer curbside pick up Tuesday – Friday, between 10 am and 3 pm.

Orders must be placed online ahead of time and prepaid. Please choose the local pick up option at check out and wait for an email saying your order is complete and ready for pick up.

Upon arrival, please park behind the shop in front of the first bay door where the signs indicate, and call us at the number posted. Please do not get out of your vehicle, just pop the truck and we’ll put your order inside for you.


Can I add to my order?

Yes, if your order has not shipped yet, you can place another order and choose “add to my previous order” at checkout.

Will you hold my order?

Yes, if you ask us to in the order notes or email us, we will hold your order until you advise us to ship it.
If you are holding your order for a particular fabric to come back in stock, please let us know what fabric you are waiting for.

Are there any current coupons?

We post a new weekly sale code in our Facebook Group every Monday morning.  You can also sign up to receive the coupon code in a weekly email.

Do you have bulk discounts or wholesale pricing?

Yes.  If you add 10 or more meters (quantity 20) to your cart, it should automatically discount 10%.  Some fabrics have further discounts for higher quantities.  We can roll your larger quantity on to a bolt by request, and we also sell by the full roll (50-75 meters).  For more info on by the roll pricing, please contact us via the form below.


How long will it take to get my order?
We do our best to get orders out the same day or next business day from receiving them.   With the exception of big sales or special events.
We ship via Canada Post from Leamington, Ontario.  Shipping times are approximately 1-3 days within Ontario, 2-3 days to Quebec, 4-5 days to the Maritimes/Prairies, and around 7 days to BC/up north.
Will you rush my order?

Yes, you can add a note to your order to please ship ASAP, or email us for courier rates.

Will you ship half a meter or trim via lettermail?

Since it cannot be tracked, we do not send any product by lettermail, except for swatch cards.

My tracking says delivered, but I didn’t get my package. Help!

This rarely ever happens, but if it does, we can help.  Sometimes the parcel is marked delivered and shows up the next day.  If not, 24 hours after your parcel is marked delivered we are able to file a claim with Canada Post.  They will auto-reply to us that they will look into it for 5 days, so it’s a bit of slow process.  While you are waiting, please contact your local post office and also speak with your local mail carrier to see if you can find out more info.  Keep us posted on any developments, and we will do the same.


Do I need to wash my new fabrics?

Yes, all fabric should be washed before using to pre-shrink it and to get rid of any dirt/chemicals from manufacturing and transport.

How do I wash my new fabrics?

We are working on adding washing instructions to our website.  A very general guideline: you can wash everything on normal.  Wool, rayon, foil/hologram, swim fabric, and bamboo should be hung to dry.

Will you help choose fabric that matches another fabric?

Absolutely.  You can ask on our Facebook group (and possibly get matches we haven’t even thought of yet) or email us at the email address below.

Can you get in something different than what you carry?

We often source fabric in addition to those we carry.  At this time our focus is knit fabric, so if there is something you are looking for, please let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
